Live Learning · Engage

Turn your live class into an interactive show — not a one-way webinar.

Vacademy Live Sessions bring slides, polls, MCQs, leaderboards, whiteboards, and chat into a single classroom — running natively in the browser or alongside Zoom / Google Meet. Every interaction is captured, graded, and routed into reports automatically.

  • Polls · MCQs · Leaderboards inside slides
  • Native browser — no plugin downloads
  • Pairs with Zoom, Meet & BigBlueButton
  • Every interaction is graded & reported

Why teams switch

The status quo is costing your team time and money

Live classes are a black box for learning data

Zoom and Meet give you a recording and an attendee list. They tell you nothing about who understood, who was confused, or where the class lost attention.

Capture comprehension live — not after

Teachers babysit 5 tools at once

One window for slides, another for polls, a chat tab, an attendance tracker, and a separate quiz app. The teacher's focus is on tool-switching, not teaching.

One workspace, every interaction

Recordings are dead artefacts

Most learners never replay them. There's no way to ask a question on minute 32 or to be quizzed on what was just taught.

Recordings become a graded, interactive asset

Teacher cockpit

Everything teachers need on a single screen

Slides, polls, MCQs, leaderboard, chat, and participant grid — no tab-switching, no missed questions.

How a live class actually runs

The flow your teachers will love within one session

Built on the engage-client real-time stack. State persists across refresh, mobile suspend, and reconnect — so the class never breaks just because a learner's wifi blinks.

01

Build the deck once

Drag in slides, embed a poll, drop an MCQ, attach a code lab, or pull a sketch board. Vacademy mixes content + assessment in the same deck.

02

Share the invite code

Learners join with a 6-character code on any device — phone, laptop, tablet. No installs, no accounts for guests, no friction.

03

Run the class

Advance slides at your pace. Polls, MCQs, and quizzes go live with one click; the leaderboard updates in real time. Reconnect-safe by design.

04

End → reports → automation

Attendance, MCQ scores, poll responses, and leaderboard rank are pushed into the LMS reports, parent digests, and revenue automations — instantly.

What's inside

A teaching cockpit, not just a video call

Map these to your workflow →

Interactive slides

Title, content, blank, video, and quiz slides — all in one deck. Mix lecture with assessment without breaking flow.

Polls + MCQs + leaderboards

Run a poll mid-lecture, score an MCQ live, or push a 10-second speed quiz. The leaderboard auto-updates and gamifies attention.

Live whiteboard (Excalidraw)

Draw, sketch, and annotate on a shared canvas. Save the sketch back into the slide deck for future learners.

Hand-raise + chat

Configurable raise-hand, public chat, and private mentor channel. Moderators control noise and surface the best questions.

Reconnect-safe state

Class state (current slide, timer, score) lives on the server. Refresh a tab or recover from a mobile suspend — no data lost, no awkward 'where were we?'.

Zoom / Meet / BBB integration

Already using Zoom or Google Meet? Vacademy layers slides + interactions on top of your existing call — no platform migration needed.

What changes after week 1

Live classes finally pay for themselves

+47%
Average engagement

Polls + MCQs + leaderboards push active participation from passive viewing.

−72%
Teacher tool-switching

One workspace replaces Zoom + chat + quiz tool + attendance + slide deck.

3.1x
Recording replay rate

Interactive recordings (with embedded quizzes) get replayed 3x more often.

+22%
Course completion

Cohorts with interactive live classes finish more chapters than passive ones.

Wired into the platform

Live data triggers the rest of the platform

Every live interaction is a structured event — captured, scored, and ready to drive your workflows.

Auto-grade in-class MCQs and push scores into the learner's report card.

Trigger personalised remedial content for learners who scored below mastery on a live quiz.

Send a parent-facing WhatsApp digest 30 min after the class ends — with the child's poll responses and rank.

Auto-schedule a make-up session for absentees based on attendance thresholds.

Frequently asked

Common questions from buyers

Do learners need to install anything?+

No. Live Sessions run in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or laptop. Guests can join with just an invite code — no Vacademy account required.

Can we keep using Zoom or Google Meet?+

Yes. Vacademy Live Sessions can either be standalone or run alongside Zoom / Google Meet / BigBlueButton. The video call happens in your tool of choice; the interactions, slides, polls, and grading happen in Vacademy.

How big can a live session be?+

Live Sessions scale to thousands of concurrent participants in a single room with sub-second poll/MCQ updates. For larger town-halls (10k+), we recommend the broadcast mode with sampled interactions.

What happens if a learner's wifi drops?+

State is persisted on the server. The learner rejoins exactly where they left off — same slide, same timer, same in-progress quiz attempt. Nothing is lost.

Can recorded sessions be made interactive on replay?+

Yes. The recording stores the slide + interaction timeline. Replays can re-trigger quizzes / polls at the same timestamps so absent learners get the same active-learning experience.
