Why teams switch
The status quo is costing your team time and money
Doubt resolution is your worst SLA
Learners ask the same 15 questions a hundred times per cohort. Mentors spend evenings re-typing the same answer. By the time you reply, the learner has moved on or quit.
Generic AI chatbots hallucinate your syllabus
ChatGPT and Gemini don't know your specific syllabus, your past papers, or your notation. They invent confident-sounding wrong answers and erode trust.
WhatsApp doubt groups are unmanageable
A 200-learner WhatsApp group means 600+ messages a day, none of them searchable, all of them flooding your mentors' phones.

How it works
Your content becomes a personal tutor
Vacademy ingests your course material into a vector knowledge base, then runs a retrieval-augmented chat agent with intent classification, escalation routing, and structured citations.
Ingest your content
Upload chapter PDFs, lecture videos (transcribed), notes, past Q&A archives, and slide decks. Vacademy embeds and indexes everything per-institute.
Learner asks a question
Via the in-course chat widget, the standalone web app, WhatsApp, or voice. Intent classifier routes to doubt-mode, practice-mode, or human-escalation as appropriate.
Answer with citations
Retrieval-augmented generation answers from your content with explicit citations (page X of chapter Y). Math, code, and diagrams render inline. Hindi / Tamil / regional languages supported.
Escalate when stuck
If the AI's confidence drops below a configurable threshold — or the learner explicitly asks — the conversation routes to a human mentor with the full chat history pre-attached.
What's inside
An AI tutor designed for academies, not consumers
Grounded in your content
Answers come from your chapter PDFs, slide decks, lecture transcripts, and past Q&A — never generic web content. Citations to the source page are mandatory, not optional.
Doubt mode vs practice mode
Intent classifier detects whether the learner wants a quick answer, a worked example, a similar practice problem, or a step-by-step walkthrough — and adapts accordingly.
Multi-channel: chat · voice · WhatsApp
Web chat widget inside courses; standalone web app; WhatsApp two-way messaging; voice agent for hands-free study. Same answer, same source of truth.
Human-mentor escalation
When confidence drops or topic is sensitive, the AI hands off to a human mentor with the full transcript, current learning context, and suggested response.
Multilingual + code-switching
Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish — plus Hinglish-style code-switching. Math notation renders correctly in every language.
Conversation analytics
See the top 50 doubt patterns across the cohort. Spot content gaps in your syllabus from real learner questions, not surveys.
Why this changes the cohort economics
Doubt-resolution at scale, mentor time saved
Learners get answers at 2am during exam week, not 'next mentor call'.
Avg drop in repetitive doubt-tickets handled by human mentors.
Cohort questions resolved without escalation in production deployments.
Learners with timely doubt-resolution finish more chapters than those without.
Wired into the platform
The chatbot is connected, not a separate widget
Every conversation is a structured signal — for syllabus gaps, mentor routing, and revenue. The chatbot doesn't just answer; it changes the next step.
If a learner asks the same question 3+ times, auto-trigger a remedial micro-course.
Surface the top 10 cohort-wide questions in next week's teacher planner.
Escalate paid-tier learners' doubts to senior mentors automatically.
Push WhatsApp summary of unresolved doubts to mentors at end of day.

Customer spotlight
JEE coaching · 4,200 learner cohort
“Doubt-resolution went from 'within 24 hours, hopefully' to '6 seconds, always'. Our mentors stopped retyping the same answers and started doing higher-value 1:1 sessions. The chatbot also surfaced a content gap in our Class 11 chemistry notes — we'd have never spotted it.”

Frequently asked
Common questions from buyers
How is this different from ChatGPT?+−
Two things: (1) it's grounded only in *your* content — your chapter PDFs, lecture transcripts, past Q&A — not the open internet, so it can't hallucinate your syllabus; (2) it cites the exact page/slide where the answer came from, so learners and mentors can verify.
Will it answer outside the syllabus?+−
By default the chatbot stays within your content. If a learner asks something genuinely off-syllabus, it can either say 'this isn't in our syllabus' or, with your config, fall back to general knowledge with a clear disclaimer. You control the policy.
Does it support voice?+−
Yes — a voice agent answers spoken questions with spoken replies, useful for revision during commutes or for visually-impaired learners. Same knowledge base, same citations (read aloud).
Can mentors take over a chat?+−
Yes. Mentors see all conversations in real time and can take over any chat with one click. The handoff preserves context — they don't have to ask the learner to re-explain.
What data does Vacademy store / train on?+−
Your content is indexed only for your institute and never used to train shared models. Chat transcripts stay in your tenant. You control retention (default 90 days, configurable).
